The charges were from offences ranging from June 2002 to June 2010, during which Brophy stole a total of $216,000.
In sentencing at the District Court today, Judge Allan Fenbury said Brophy had not been caught for eight years because she was a close friend of one of the victims.

Judge Fenbury said he accepted Brophy was remorseful and had been living frugally while working as a nurse in the Kimberley to try to repay some of the money she stole.
